Can the HD120 perform DPF regeneration on all Volvo and International trucks?

HD120 mainly supports DPF regeneration for most Volvo, International, and MaxxForce engines. Some Volvo engine IDs may not support regen. Support depends on engine type and ECU permissions.

Why won’t DPF regeneration start even when my truck supports it?

DPF regen may fail if vehicle conditions are not met, such as soot load level, coolant temperature, parking brake status, fuel level, or active fault codes. Some models also restrict regen through diagnostic tools based on ECU settings.

Why can't some fault codes be cleared, or why do they come back after clearing?

Some fault codes are active or linked to unresolved problems, so they return until the issue is fixed. Certain permanent or manufacturer-protected codes may also require repair completion or specific reset conditions before clearing.

Why can't I connect the HD120 to my iPhone for the first time?

The first-time connection must be done via Bluetooth, not Wi-Fi. This applies to all iPhone models. Please turn off Wi-Fi and pair via the Truck APP. After that, you can use Wi-Fi.

What information can I view during diagnostics?

HD120 can read fault codes, clear codes, display live data, and show ECU information for major systems like engine, ABS, and transmission. This helps identify issues faster and supports daily truck maintenance.
